Prototype 1 was the very first DeLorean, hand built by Bill Collins. This was used by John DeLorean and Dick Brown as they travelled the US seeking funding for the project. This car was purchased in an auction in 2005 by Tony Ierardi – the president of DMC Florida. This car has been restored by Tony and his team and is featured among our Unique DeLoreans section of this website.
