What happened to treating others with respect?
According to Emily Post, this is nothing new. I have some friends that lack manners. It’s their way. If you don’t like it then it’s tough for you. There are consequences to this attitude. I don’t think they understand that. I agree with you. I think manners and respect are important. But it can be difficult. It can be difficult when encountering aggressive salespeople and boors (people lacking manners). I lose my grip on my emotion control when I’m tired, stressed, worried, and uncertain. I want to be nice but want to show that I’m not going to be taken advantage of. Salespeople don’t know when to quit sometimes. There are people that are completely oblivious to anyone around them. So sometimes I have to get around them and it’s not perfect. I do speak up but sometimes that doesn’t work.
