What happens after Basic Training (Regular Force)?
Normally you proceed directly to your next phase of training, which is specific to the Army occupation you have selected. For example, if you enrolled as a Weapons Technician, you would begin learning this trade shortly after basic training. Once your occupational training is complete (length varies depending on your occupation), you will then start serving with your first Army unit.
