What happens at the end of the inquiry?
Only at this stage, when all the evidence has been heard, the data gathered and analysed, will the Group form their conclusions as to whether the merger operates, or could be expected to operate, against the public interest. The report will then be written with a summary followed by detailed conclusions. The report must answer the questions in the reference.
