What happens during Probate Administration?
• There are essentially four steps in the administration of an estate. First, any will must be probated. Next, the assets of the estate must then be preserved. Once the assets have been collected and preserved, the debts of the decedent must be paid. Once this has been done, the remaining assets of the estate can be distributed according to the will or laws of intestacy.
