What happens during the conforming of a Pro Tools session, when the region selected cuts through a Fade?

0

With Pro Tools 7.2 onward, fades will be automatically redrawn. With Pro Tools sessions prior to 7.2, the result is as if the fade was not there i.e. the Fade disappears but the Audio remains. The audio will be compiled to a the destination hour but the fade will need to be redrawn during the cleanup of the session. In the case where the region to to be copied includes a fade only, Pro Tools does not allow a fade to be copied without contributing regions: in this case VK will automatically increase the In and Out parameters before compiling.
