What happens if a facility does not register as required?

0

Once registered, a facility will get an FDA Registration Number, which has to be stated on every prior notice of a shipment of products into the United States. The products of any foreign facility that is not registered will not be allowed entry into the United States. These products will be held at the port of entry and the concerned foreign facility will be responsible for paying all the related storage, demurrage and transportation costs.
