What happens if a family emergency requires that I leave the mission area to return to the U.S.?
DIFZ understands that officers may encounter family and other emergencies while participating in these missions. In such events, your travel would count towards one of your authorized round-trip airfare entitlements. If you have used all your authorized round-trip airfare entitlements, you would be responsible for all travel expenses. Please check with your recruiter for current travel entitlements.
