On Tuesday 13th October, Cambridgeshire County Council members voted to support a proposal to pursue Transport Innovation Funding monies. Read more here. However on 2nd March 2010 the Department for Transport has announced a new Urban Challenge Fund is to be launched, which will replace the existing Transport Innovation Fund (TIF). Therefore Cambridgeshire’s TIF bid has been unsuccessful.
