• If you take maternity leave, and you receive a lower salary under the University’s Maternity Procedure, or if you are on sick leave and your entitlement to full sick pay expires, you may need to change the amount of Childcare Vouchers you receive.For further information, contact Mrs Louise Alford (l.alford@abdn.ac.uk) or Miss Kirsty McIntosh (k.mcintosh@abdn.ac.uk) in Human Resources (extension 3500). • If you enter unpaid leave, due to extended sickness absence or unpaid maternity leave, this situation would be classified as a “lifestyle change” for childcare voucher scheme purposes and you would follow the appropriate procedure in these circumstances. You would not be able to re-enter the scheme in the current tax year.
