What happens if my child gets a low score on the placement test?
Some students are placed in developmental classes. These are classes that do not count for college credit but prepare the student for college level classes. They have a class number that is below 100, for example Math 095 or English 090. Students are often upset to have to take classes that don’t count but it is much worse to fail a class that he or she is not prepared to take.
