There are no harsh chemicals in Oxy Deep Steam that would harm the carpet. The amount of peroxide in the product is a very low concentration. If a deep cleaning machine is available, clean the area with water until all of the Oxy Deep Steam formula is removed from the carpet. If no deep cleaning machine is available, blot carpet until formula is removed.
