What happens if the Ombudsman finds that Transport for London was at fault?
The complainant said that Transport for London had moved a bus stop sign so that it was outside her property. People waiting for buses now sat on her boundary wall, were rowdy and threw rubbish into her garden. Transport for London said that the bus stop had been moved to improve accessibility for passengers but accepted that it had not properly considered the amenity of neighbours before the stop was moved. It agreed to move the stop so that it was further from the complainant’s property.
