What happens if you take 4 extra power paracetamol and aspirin tablets?
Hi, The answer is Yes if you do this regularly, your liver and kidneys would not tolerate the toxicity of the paracetamol at this dose on a regular basis, it would probably cope just this once but I would not suggest taking more than 2 tablets (1000mg) of paracetamol at any one time – paracetamol is best taken as a small dose in regular intervals i.e. no more than every 4 hours, that is the only way in which paracetamol becomes effective – you can take aspirin with paracetamol or ibuprofen but not ibuprofen and aspirin as they are from the same group and you would overdose – if you require an effective painkilling combination – take 2 paracetamols and 2 ibuprofen (unless you are asthmatic in which case do not take aspirin or ibuprofen) or exchange the ibuprofen for 2 aspirin (not both) the combination of the two groups works very well but do not take 4 paracetamols or anything with paracetamols that contain extra paracetamol for e.g. codamols which contain paracetamol – it is extremely
