Hi, The answer is Yes if you do this regularly, your liver and kidneys would not tolerate the toxicity of the paracetamol at this dose on a regular basis, it would probably cope just this once but I would not suggest taking more than 2 tablets (1000mg) of paracetamol at any one time – paracetamol is best taken as a small dose in regular intervals i.e. no more than every 4 hours, that is the only way in which paracetamol becomes effective – you can take aspirin with paracetamol or ibuprofen but not ibuprofen and aspirin as they are from the same group and you would overdose – if you require an effective painkilling combination – take 2 paracetamols and 2 ibuprofen (unless you are asthmatic in which case do not take aspirin or ibuprofen) or exchange the ibuprofen for 2 aspirin (not both) the combination of the two groups works very well but do not take 4 paracetamols or anything with paracetamols that contain extra paracetamol for e.g. codamols which contain paracetamol – it is extremely
