What happens on a typical visit?
We will begin with a visual exam and take current x-rays before cleaning your teeth. We take time to get to know your situation by reviewing your dental and medical records, and by asking appropriate questions to understand your needs and concerns. Your examination will include a soft tissue exam (or oral cancer screening) and a careful look at the teeth and gums to note any irregularities. We will further cover preventive measures so that you can more effectively contribute to your dental health. If any additional treatment is necessary, we will discuss that with you.
