What happens on The Haunted Mansion ride in Disney World?
The Haunted Mansion is basically an advanced “haunted house”, except that you ride through the mansion, and it has awesome special effects. After walking along the path to the mansion (be sure to read the tombstones), you, along with others, will be collected in a room. You are asked to gather near the center and then it appears that you are moving when the walls stretch. After you leave the room, you will then proceed to get loaded in a Doom Buggy. Then you begin the trek throughout the mansion. My favorite part is where the ghosts are dining and ballroom dancing. The special effects are terrific! Also, be sure to pay attention at the end of the ride. You may have picked up a hitchhiker without you knowing it, lol. Have fun!
