What happens to Diplomates who fail to maintain certification?

0

When a Diplomate fails to submit an acceptable CM worksheet, does not successfully complete the Comprehensive Practice examination or is dues delinquent, the Board will consider that the CIH/CAIH has failed to maintain their certification. When the Board finds that a Diplomate has failed to renew his/her certification, the Board sends that person written notice of expiration at the person’s current mailing address. The Board may publish, from time to time, the names of persons whose certification has expired. This decision can be appealed if the Diplomate has justifiable cause. See the Certification Appeals Procedures.
