What happens to grimmjow after he got defeated by ichigo at the end of the hueco mundo arc?
First off, the Hueco Mundo Arc is still far from over. So without giving too much away, here’s what happened: After the fight between Ichigo and Grimmjaw and just as Ichigo was preparing to leave with Orihime (thinking that their mission in Hueco Mundo is over), the Fifth Espada Nnoitra Jiruga came out of nowhere and slashed Grimmjaw, possibly killing him. Ichigo then began fighting the Fifth Espada. However, weakened from his previous fight with Grimmjaw, he is easily overpowered. Fortunately, Nel’s power unexpectedly increases, allowing her to defeat Nnoitra, at least momentarily (how and why she increased her powers will really surprise you). But, Nel’s power increase doesn’t last long and just when it seemed like all hope is lost, allies arrive to save the day… Well, at least until the next fight begins since Ichigo, the others, and the allies that came to help them are still in Hueco Mundo until now – trapped by Aizen, who blocked the gate they used to enter Hueco Mundo.
