It appears you would be out your subscription. This is from the Sirius/XM terms of service: "2. Refunds: LIFETIME, AUTOMOTIVE PRE-PACKAGED, MONTHLY AND CERTAIN PROMOTIONAL SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. If you cancel your Subscription prior to its expiration (excluding the aforementioned types of Subscriptions), you will receive a refund of amounts paid directly by the subscriber, if any, on a pro-rata basis, less any applicable fees, unless provided otherwise in any offer for the Service that you accept. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT THAT WE CEASE BROADCASTING THE SERVICE, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF A LIQUIDATION, BANKRUPTCY, OR OTHERWISE, ALL PREPAID SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL BE TREATED AS NONREFUNDABLE. " So the effective date of your current contract, once the company files for BK, you will lose the rest of the subscription. If I were you, I'd cancel the remaining subscription and do just the 3 month deal, so you canstill listen to the radio and not lose a bunch of money.  more
