If the Low Ink Check feature is enabled (DIP SWITCH BANK 1 SWITCH 8 Set to OFF) after 7 million characters the printer will switch to the other cartridge. If the Low Ink Check feature is disabled the print quality will become extremely poor for the last 20ft of paper before the ink completely runs out.
