What happens when I run Wowza software as a Windows service?
If you configure Wowza Media Server to run as a Windows service or to load on start-up, it may create a second instance. You may be billed for multiple instances with this configuration. For example, if Wowza Server is configured to auto-start after the machine is rebooted, and then you manually start Wowza Server that means you started two instances. One instance is started automatically when the machine reboots, and the second instance is started when you manually start Wowza Server. Please review the User’s Guide for information about running Wowza Media Server as a Windows service.
