What has the Camden County League done recently?
• Registered hundreds of voters, many at bi-monthly naturalization ceremonies. • Moderated candidate forums for numerous school board and municipal elections. • Responded to numerous phone calls from citizens to our League Line (856-795-7878), giving them information or making referrals. • Responded to numerous e-mails to our e-mail account, lwvcc@hotmail.com • Sponsored a public forum featuring Zach Stalberg from Philadelphia’s Committee of 70. • Conducted Running & Winning, a leadership workshop for high school junior and senior girls. • Published and distributed the Camden County Guide to Elections and Government to voters, schools, libraries, civic organizations, and all 37 municipalities in the county, as well as online. • Published a monthly newsletter, The Voter, informing members and citizens about federal and state legislation and public policy issues. • Particilated in a national League consensus on the “National Popular Vote Compact”. • Wrote and called state and national le
