HomePlug compliant power line networking ICs are expected to be first incorporated into PC-centric applications. Other consumer electronic applications will follow shortly as PC-centric HomePlug products start to gain market acceptance. All types of home electronic devices will potentially be built with HomePlug enabling ICs.
