What hotel will serve dishes from Julia Child recipes?
The Hyatt Regency Sacramento will feature recipes from Julia Child at its Dawson’s restaurant on Thursday evenings in August. Ian Libberton, the Hyatt’s executive chef, will direct his kitchen to make some recipes from Child’s best-selling cookbooks, including “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” and “The Way to Cook.” “Her recipes are classics, but it’s nice to put your own twist on any recipe,” Libberton said. The Julia Child promotion is meant to offer Sacramentans a taste of Child’s cooking in connection with the Meryl Streep movie “Julie & Julia,” opening this month, said Brenda Miller, director of sales at the Hyatt.
