Judges who are involved in any way in a production cannot judge that particular production. If a production in which a judge is involved gets nominated, it is because the other judges have scored it high enough to qualify it. In the final judging to decide who the award goes to, the judge whose performance is nominated will not be able to vote in the category for which his/her show is nominated.
