What if a song seems to violate copyright or the Creative Commons?
We’re all trying to play by the rules around here, but sometimes things can get a bit confusing. If you come across a track that seems to violate the parameters of Creative Commons or if you have any doubts about whether your own work falls under those boundaries, please take another look at our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines . If you are a copyright owner and you determine that a song does indeed violate your copyright, a good first step is to contact the user and politely ask them to remove it from Sutros. If that doesn’t work, please file a Notice of Copyright Infringement and we’ll take it from there. Please note that if you violate copyright laws or the boundaries of Creative Commons, your account will be closed.
