What if I do not use a doctor in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO network?
If you use the PPO network, you will receive a higher level of coverage. If you receive services from a non-PPO doctor or hospital, your benefits are covered at a lower level. You may also be responsible for paying any difference between the non-PPO doctor’s charges and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield allowance.
