What if I don know the exact address(es) of where I want to travel from or to?
When you use the door-to-door journey planner you can choose to enter locations that are not full addresses, such as town names, postcodes or station names. You may also enter names of attractions or facilities, such as hotel names. You can also use a map to find the exact location you want to travel to or from. Example 1 You would like to travel to an address for which you do not know the postcode: • ‘Address/postcode’ is already selected, so there is no need to choose another category. • Type in as much of the address as you know (e.g. 123 Victoria Street,London). Example 2 You know the postcode of the location: • ‘Address/postcode’ is already selected, so there is no need to choose another category. • Type in the full postcode (e.g.”EN4 7QQ”) or the partial postcode (e.g. “SE1”). Example 3 You think you know a main station near to where you would like to travel from: • Select ‘Station/airport’. • Type the name of the station in the box (e.g. “Waterloo”).
