Remember that the more you mix meats together, the less of a distinctive taste you will end up with.  Some combinations are tasty.  Turkey and sausage, beef and sausage, chicken and turkey, but don’t take it too far.  Mixing two at a time will likely turn out alright, but mixing four will deprive you of a lot of flavor.  Also remember that some red meats don’t work well with poultry.

Spices also make a huge difference.  Some recipes work better with poultry, some with beef, some with sausage.  Do a little research online, ask friends and family, or simply experiment a little.  Eventually you will find the right combination.

You might also consider replacing ground beef with ground pork, if it’s an option.  It tends to mix well with both sausage and poultry.

Also remember that different meats require different temperatures to be safe.  Always cook your mixture to the highest temperature required, especially if there is poultry involved.  It’s best to simply cook any mixed meat meal to at least 165 degrees farenheit, just to be on the safe side.

Good luck!

I think it would be very good…..I mix these alot in other dishes…..especially pork sausage & beef burger. Only way I make meatloaf & meatballs is to mix these 2, usually 1/4 sausage with lean burger.

If you use turkey, make sure you cook the burger all the way through.

Kinda sounds like overkill to me. I’d stick with mixing the poultry alone, or the sausage and beef mixture only.

I don’t think it will taste extra good, just like meat, as all of the flavours will amalgamate.
