Your Council will respond to your email but if you've sent it to a general email address it may take them a while to decide who is the most appropriate section to deal with your enquiry. Ring your local council rather then wait for them to email a response. Ask to speak to the Early Years Inclusion Team. You could also contact the Admissions section & discuss what it means when a nursery does not have an Ofsted report. If you don't have a solicitor already I would call the Citizen's Advice Bureau. Call your ex's bluff, let him take you to court - if you have a nursery you would prefer to send your child to, start gathering the evidence you will need to convince a court this place is preferable. It might also be a good time to settle what you & her father will do when it comes to going to primary school.
