What if the splitter fails?
We have found splitter failures to be very rare. Comar and Smart Radio active antenna splitters offered by Milltech Marine are designed to default to the VHF radio. If the splitter loses power or expereinces some other form of failure, the mechanical relay switches to allow VHF radio transmission and reception.
