What impact does culture have on religion?
Unfortunately quite a bit.The churches are trying so hard to find ways to entice converts into attending their churches that they are willing to compromise God’s word,as spoken in the scriptures to accommodate the secular world.Example;Both the ELCA ( Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and the Episcopal Church have broken with the Holy Bible in encouraging Homosexuals into the clergy,the Pastoral books 1st and 2nd Timothy and Titus teach against this as do other scripture.’Many churches are abandoning a lot of traditional aspects of worship only to cater to the influences of the secular culture.I believe in mission,saving souls,bringing people into the love of Christ,but,yes the culture dose have an effect,some good but some dangerously close to Paganism.
