What influences the stock market?
The stock market is influenced by dozens of factors, including company fundamentals, business cycle, interest rates, government policies, oil prices, currency fluctuations, demand and supply, sentiment, funds flows and so on. Because of such a wide spectrum of factors, there is no single method which can track or analyse the market accurately all the time. We need an array of tools and methods, with more emphasis on certain ones at certain times. The big question is always “when is the correct time to use the correct method” !
