What ingredients are used for the Bella Italia sauces?
The ingredients are either fresh or frozen, depending of the season. The main ingredient is the tomato, an inseparable companion to pasta dishes. Based on the recipe, other ingredients like peppers, eggplant, olives, capers and porcini mushrooms can be added to the tomato, and all this is then finally seasoned with the most well known Mediterranean herbs like: garlic, onion, parsley, chili pepper. There are no natural or artificial flavorings added to our pasta sauces.
