What is a background check and how will it affect my employability?
A pre-placement background check will be made on all candidates selected for employment. It will include a ten year criminal record check. Criminal convictions are not necessarily disqualifying; it will depend on the offense, time since the offense and the work you will be required to perform in your job. By submitting your application you are authorize the County to obtain your background information.
