The chaos and confusion that follows a fire or other disaster is quite enough for a business to deal with. As evidenced by the events of September 11, as well as any number of accidental fires and explosions, simple survival may be the priority for an indefinite period of time. Once the immediate risk to human life is contained, however, focus must be centered on ensuring the continuance of business.
