What is a Clicker?

A Clicker is a tool used to mark behavior. How does a dog know when he has done the right behavior? He doesn’t. We as guardians/ trainers must tell him. The clicker “marks” the exact behavior the dog was doing at a specific point in time. A click followed by a food reward/treat will increase the likely hood that the dog will give the behavior again. Dog Language: Oh! That’s what my guardian wanted me to do.
