OK, I’ll try my best. Here goes! Firstly you need fruit and veg. I’m sure you know about the five-a-day thing. If you struggle with this, try stuff like fruit salads, or drinks with ‘one of your five a day’ signs. Next you need vitamins and minerals – you’re a teenager so you need iron, multivitamins are good. I take them, they’re a breeze. Carbohydrates – make sure you eat a good amount of starchy food such as potato, pasta and bread… but not too much. Dairy is another important food group – milk, cheese and yoghurts are an example. These will help give you more calcium for healthy teeth and bones. For helping your body’s recovery, protein is important. This is meat, eggs etc. Finally, the easiest: fats. You should consume a small amount of fats and sugars every day, to give you energy. I hope this helps!
