What is a control trigger?
Kaleidescape’s patent pending control triggers are automation signals sent by the Kaleidescape movie server to a control system. A Kaleidescape movie server integrated with a control system can use the control triggers to change the lighting, reposition motorized curtains and projection lenses, adjust screen masking, etc. at the beginning of a feature movie, the beginning of the end credits, the end of the movie, and other significant events. The control triggers can carry detailed information about DVDs and Blu-ray Discs, which is provided by the Kaleidescape Movie Guide Service.
