What is a conversation in gmail?
When you send someone an email and they reply–you’ve started a conversation. And rather than letting those fill up more and more space on your inbox page, Gmail groups them all together under one subject line with the name of the two people on the line and a number in parenthesis right after that. The number tells you how many messages are in that conversation. And, a conversation can involve more than just 2 people. It can be between as many people as you sent your email out to.
