What is a corset piercing?
are both corset piercings- a number of surface to surface piercings following the shape of a corset. The six point corset to the upper left has barbells in for comfort, and the 10 point corset has captive beads. The captive beads allow the owner to string ribbon through to give the appearance of a corset. Corset piercings, being surface to surface piercings, have a high risk of rejection. The skin pushes the jewelry out over time, just as it would a splinter. As with any piercing, there is a high risk of scarring, but especially with surface piercings.
