What is a Customer Choice Raincheck?
A. Although we try to have every advertised item available during the sale, there are occasions where the featured merchandise doesn t arrive, we receive only limited quantities for one reason or another, or we misjudge the demand for an item. On those occasions, we have offered a raincheck so the customer can later purchase the item at the sale price or we have substituted the sale item. We have expanded our raincheck program. “Customer Choice Raincheck Program” allows the customer to select a comparable substitute item in the same category of merchandise for an equal or greater percentage of savings. It doesn t matter whether the sale item was a regularly stocked item, a “special buy” or “limited” quantity. When our customers make the effort to shop at their exchange, we want them to take the sale item home with them not walk away empty-handed.
