What is a DHPP, DAPP, or DHLPP Booster?
• D=Distemper (See AVMA brochure on Canine Distemper) • H=Hepatitis is Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH) caused by Canine Adenovirus. Every year a dog should come in for a checkup and vaccination update. Three-year DHP vaccinations include a one-year Parainfluenza vaccine which must be boostered annually with Kennel Cough. Three-year rabies vaccinations can be given after the initial one-year booster. What is Kennel Cough? Kennel Cough is also known as bordetella.
