Draft is a slang expression of Draught. As such there really is not an exact definition. The generally accepted definition is that it is beer served from a keg or cask. The more traditional definition is that it is beer served from a large container, which is not necessarily a keg but could have been. This ambiguity is why a certain brewer in the US can call their bottled and can beers genuine draguht. But technically there is no exact definition for it. ... more

Draft is beer"on tap" it's in a big metal keg under the bar and generally is not pasteurized, some will say it has more flavour, and because it isn't pasteurized it must be kept very cold. There is also bottled beer and cans of beer. If you are talking about beer types.... Lauger Ale Pilsner Stout....there are a few more but unless it's a specialty bar you won't find them. ... more

Draft beer comes in barrels more commonly called kegs. They are metal. Bars also offer bottled beer, maybe some from cans. Bottled beers will be divided into domestic and non-domestic. u know, USA made or from another country. ... more
