you need to show skill whatever topic you do, however you may find it easier depending on your chosen subject if you do emotions you could observe different facial expressions (use simple line drawings and ones with deep shading…), also look at how some artists portrayed people’s emotions in their paintings and maybe experiment with how the colour sheme affects the emotion of a character in the painting…(e.g. blue/grey background if they’re sad, red if angry…) …sight could also be interesting…do observations of eyes (using different drawing/painting styles), maybe experiment with how a short-sighted person may see far away things (i.e. make things in the background blurry and closer thinks clearer) or a colour-blind person’s perception of the world…and try not to limit yourself to just drawing eyes…that may get a little repetative and you need to show a range of skills …i think fire would be more difficult, mainly because it’s hard to know exactly what you could produce
