What is a fair cost to replace a water pump on an 02 Chevy Silverado?

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado that needs a water pump and I am wondering what do you’ll think would be a fair cost for such a job. Thank You! A: depends on what shop you go to labor according to motor alldata is 2 hours- they may charge for a pressure test or something- the price for the part is about 130 for an oreiley new part- again this depends on the part store you buy it from the cheapest route to do this if your going to do this at a shop is to buy the parts and coolant you need dexcool by the way dont forget the gaskets if they dont come with the part- and take it to a shop and tell them you want them to put the water pump in all you pay to them is the labor- a lot cheaper.
