What is a Flow Extender and what does it do?

The Flow Extender is a one inch long piece of pipe that fits in the 1″ SCWD inlet, under the Drive Assembly. It was developed to provide a more concentrated flow of water to the Drive Impeller under low volume, high back pressure conditions. It also improves flow when using a 90 degree elbow entering the SCWD.
