What is a full-bleed image?

0

A full bleed image extends or “bleeds” over the edges of a page. A full-bleed image does not show borders or white space. In order to achieve this, the page is trimmed on the outer three edges up to 1/8 inch. Be sure to keep important items in your photo (e.g. heads and feet, or text) away from these edges. You will see a scissors icon in preview mode in BookSmart for each page with a full bleed as a reminder that this portion of your photo, image, or text will be cut off.
