What is a funding assurance programme visit (formerly called Dipstick)?
Research Councils visit research organisations that are funded on a four year rolling programme to ensure that there are proper controls and procedures in place so that research council grants are managed appropriately. The visit will refer to reports of previous visits to the research organisation if relevant to ensure that any earlier issues have been addressed.
