I always recommend Avast as a FREE one. There is no doubt that Avast is the best free Anti-Virus on the market. Avg has low detection rates, so it will not do its best keeping Viruses, Spyware, Rookits etc off your computer. Avast however has multiple scanning engines like Virus scanning, Spyware Scanning, Rookit and Adware scanning etc. Avast also has a Web Shield, a Network Shield and a Standard Shield with also a P2P-Shield (Torrent, Limewire, Frostwire Protection) which if im corrected this Anti-Virus software (Avast) is the only FREE one too include that. It also includes a: Boot-Time -Scanner so it can scan your computer at Start-up ensuring your computer is free from all threats. This is also the only free one too include that.
